Two of the most common issues that can occur with a tire is for it to have cupping or blistering on the sidewall. This problem is made worse when the tire in question is not being rotated properly. A lot of people don't check up on their tires as frequently as they know that they should. Unfortunately, this is a situation that does arise frequently enough.

Make sure to rotate the tires on a regular basis. This means making sure the tires get rotated about once every 5,000 miles or so. One can predict this by getting their tires rotated as often as they get their oil changed. Both processes should happen on about the same schedule.

Tires are valuable, and the best way to get the most value out of them is to get them rotated on the regular. It is a major value proposition to rotate them rather than allow them to get damaged for being improperly worn.
